New Music-Based iPad Puzzle Game Circuits Challenges You To Recreate Song Snippets
February 26, 2014
The famous philosopher and poet Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "Music causes us to think eloquently." Well, if you'd like to see just how eloquently you could think with music, check out the newly released Circuits game for iPad.
Developed by Captain Cat creator Digital Tentacle, Circuits (stylized as -Circuits-) is a music-based puzzle game. In each level of the game, you have to recreate a song snippet by carefully listening to it and piecing the virtual representations of its different parts to form a coherent whole or a circuit.
Digital Tentacle notes:
As we love music, we wanted to make a game that gives the player an insight into how music is created and makes listening the core part of the experience. Packed with beautifully designed minimal graphics, to not disturb the focus of the game, and right now 25 different songs for the player to reconstruct. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Effectively enabling you to create music while playing with it, Circuits comes with an eclectic mix of sounds created by Deadlight composer David García, ranging from electronic ambient to epic orchestra. Compatible with iPad running iOS 4.0 or later, Circuits is available now in the App Store for $1.99.
