Pen & Ink Goes 3.0 With Redesigned Interface, New Brushes And More Features
Pen & Ink, the highly rated iPad watercolor drawing app developed by Stepping Stone Software, has just been updated to version 3.0 with several significant enhancements.
Perhaps most notably, Pen & Ink 3.0 introduces a new iOS 7-inspired interface with a streamlined workflow, featuring peekaboo sliders and pie menus. The update also adds new brushes for in-app purchase, including Asia Ink Wash, Art Markers, and Charcoals.
Furthermore, Pen & Ink 3.0 lets you create your custom sets of brushes by swiping left and right on the tooltray and lets you rotate the drawing surface with two-finger twisting gestures. It also includes a new read-only full-screen viewing mode, which lets you showcase your gallery without accidentally editing or making a mark on your artwork.
