Whiskey Lovers Should Take A Shot Of Distiller

This has been quite an interesting week for liquor-loving iOS device owners.
We recently introduced the Minibar Delivery app that lets users in New York City order their favorite wine and spirits and have it delivered to their door in 60 minutes or less.
And if you’re a fan of whiskey, definitely take a look at the new Distiller app that boils down the world of the history-filled spirit into a beautifully designed package.
Easily my favorite feature of the app is the personalized whiskey recommendation service. After answering a few questions, like what you’re looking to spend and how familiar you are with the spirit, the app offers a number of interesting whiskey selections.
Every bottle recommended by the app has been reviewed by a member of Distiller’s Tasting Table, a panel made up of passionate whiskey experts and lovers.
And after you’ve tried a specific bottle, drinkers can rate them and save the one they want, or have, to the Top Shelf portion of the app.
The app even features a section that tackles the history, legends, debates, and stories behind the interesting spirit.
After making a pilgrimage to the Jack Daniel’s distillery in Tennessee last year, I’ve found a new appreciation for whiskey. And I’m looking forward to exploring Distiller even more.
A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Distiller can be downloaded now in the App Store for free.
