Yahoo Weather Updated With Long Range Precipitation Forecasts And Other Features

Yahoo has just issued a notable update to its acclaimed weather app for iOS, Yahoo Weather.
The latest update to the app adds chance of precipitation to five-day and 10-day forecasts, thereby giving you a heads-up about upcoming rain, snow, sleet, or hail days ahead before their landfall. It also shows wind chill on the summary screen when relevant.
Furthermore, the new version of Yahoo Weather features new animations for moon phases, beautifully shown as you scroll through details. It also lets you pull to refresh to show a new photograph when available.
The new version of Yahoo Weather is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later.
Released for iPhone and iPod touch in April last year, Yahoo Weather was optimized for iPad last December. It was hailed as an Apple Design Award winner last year and as one of AppAdvice's Top 10 Best Free iPad Apps Of 2013.
