Boom Beach Receives A Big Upgrade With Balance Changes And Other Improvements

The popular freemium game Boom Beach has just been updated with a number of improvements.
First up, version 14.57.1 is full of visual upgrades that include improved and new graphics.
Some interface improvements include information-packed pop-up screens, a new victory screen, and improved font legibility.
And here is the complete, and extensive, list of balance changes:
- Dr. Terror has upgraded his replicators: he now mass produces mines and tougher defenses! - Extra reward for beating player bases decreased slightly - Gold income from freed Kual villages decreased slightly - Defensive statue boost time decreased to 8 hours - Using more than one Power Powder to boost one statue will queue up the boosts - Removed Power Stone glitter from destroyed building debris - Added a special three Crystal reward for destroying the top high scoring player's base!A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Boom Beach can be downloaded now in the App Store for free. As usual with this type of game, there are a number of in-app purchase opportunities available. After a soft launch in Canada in late 2013, the app arrived around the world late last month. Instead of medieval villages like another popular Supercell title, Clash of Clans, the combat in Boom Beach takes place on island bases.
