Markdown Editor 1Writer Gets Dark Mode, Improved UI, Fleksy Keyboard And More
The popular plain text and Markdown editor 1Writer has just received a useful update. Now, users of the app can enjoy a new “dark mode,” an improved user interface (UI) for the iPad, Fleksy keyboard support, and more. As before, you can download the universal 1Writer for $2.99 on the App Store.
As a reminder, 1Writer offers note-takers a clean user interface, support for both plain text and John Gruber’s Markdown, a preview mode, and an extended keyboard featuring useful shortcuts. Plus, Dropbox sync allows users to easily share their notes between another iOS device or with a desktop computer.
Better still, 1Writer integrates with TextExpander Touch – the snippet creation iOS app which received an update itself recently.
As noted above, this most recent version of 1Writer adds a new “dark mode” to the application, and it enhances the app’s UI when running on the iPad. Integration with Fleksy, which exited private beta in February, also provides 1Writer users with a more intelligent virtual keyboard, and a number of more minor changes have also been made to the $2.99 app.
