Released last September, Angry Birds Star Wars II is, of course, the sequel to the first Angry Birds Star Wars game. Inspired by the “Star Wars” movie prequels, Angry Birds Star Wars II lets you use the Force for good or join the Pork Side.
And now, following its latest update, the game lets you mix things up by playing as the birds in the Pork Side levels or the pigs in the Bird Side levels.
But perhaps the most notable thing about the latest update to Angry Birds Star Wars II is that it kicks off a Galactic Giveaway. This stellar giveaway challenges you to play through the levels and find 1,000 hidden coins, which you can then use in the shop.If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here.
The update also encourages you to wait for the carbonite to melt to win a new character. Angry Birds Star Wars II was previously updated last February with a new Carbonite Pack that includes eight playable characters: Carbonite Han Solo, Jabba the Hutt, Wicket the Ewok, Lando Bird, Royal Crimson Guard, Tusken Raider, the red Clone Trooper, and Jedi Knight Kit Fisto.
Finally, the update adds support for new languages. As a result, the game now supports English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish.
