Angry Birds Go! Gets Set With New Snowy Track, New Karts And More In First Major Update
March 21, 2014
Angry Birds Go!, the first non-puzzle game in Rovio's hugely popular Angry Birds franchise, has just received its first major update, over three months after its launch.
The first major update to the kart racing game brings about a change in the weather as it introduces a new snow-themed Sub Zero episode, with a new track covered in slippery ice.
The update also introduces eight new karts and new Telepods toys. Telepods are separately sold figures that you can shoot with your device's camera to teleport special characters into the race.

The new Angry Birds Go! update also lets you get a kart starter pack for each episode plus bonus coins and gems. It also comes with the promise of bigger rewards for daily time-limited events.
Optimized for iOS 6.0 or later and compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPad, and iPod touch, Angry Birds Go! is available in the App Store for free.
Earlier this week, Rovio soft-launched another Angry Birds title that's not a physics-based puzzle game: Angry Birds Epic, which is a fantasy role-playing game.
Rovio is also set to unveil Angry Birds Stella later this year.
