Skitch Update Makes It Faster And Simpler To Share Images

April 17, 2014
Evernote’s image-editing Skitch app has just received a very nice update that makes sharing faster and simpler. Version 3.1.1 of the app lets users access sharing options even faster. Here’s a little more about those changes from Evernote:
We’ve completely redesigned sharing in this release to let you access the options you need faster. Once you’re in the sharing screen, you’ll now see a handy preview of your annotated image. You can also tap Caption here to add a little more context along the lower edge of the image.
Images can now be quickly shared, saved, or sent to the attendees of a meeting from you calendar. The Frequents section will also learn some of your favorite ways to share images and give you easy access to them. Another big addition to the app is the new paragraph text in the annotation toolset. As pictured, the text box can be dragged to fit the space needed. A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Skitch can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. The PDF markup capability returns in this update as a $1.99 in-app purchase. Users can also purchase an Evernote Premium subscription directly from that. That costs $44.99 per year or $4.99 per month. For other recent app reviews and news today, see: Hate Camera Roll Snoopers?
