Take A Look Inside The Latest Building To Appear At Apple's EU Headquarters

April 14, 2014

Over in Cork, Ireland, Apple has been constructing a new office building – codenamed “Building 4” – and now images of the location have surfaced online.

Cork serves as Apple’s European headquarters, and has done since 1980; the latest addition to the EU HQ features “multiple office floors, a cafeteria with kitchen, a conference room equipped with large monitors, and a lounge-type area,” according to MacRumors. The pictures first appeared on Bennett Construction’s website, and we’ve included a selection of them below.

However, though the EU development is indeed impressive, the media’s eyes have rather been focused on Apple’s Campus 2 development in Cupertino, Calif., the site for which has recently been “cleared for takeoff.”

Most recently, Apple sent a Campus 2 letter out to Cupertino residents, and an unauthorized video provided us with a closer look at Apple’s demolition of the site’s old HP offices. The development received final approval from the City of Cupertino in November 2013, and since then updates on the project have been appearing online frequently.

Apple’s Campus 2 is expected to open in late 2016. We’ll keep you updated with further information as we receive it.
