Developer of Flappy Bird, Dong Nguyen, seems to be stepping back into the spotlight. Via Twitter, he just posted the pictured screenshot of a new game:
I am making a new game. So people can forget about Flappy Bird for a while. pic.twitter.com/JcUsd7FJvg

And it’s just a little odd that he shared it so people would forget about Flappy Bird.
Just yesterday, news hit that Nguyen is planning to bring back a new version of the insanely popular title in August.
The game will feature a multiplayer component, and be “less addictive.” As you might remember, Nguyen pulled the game from the App Store back in February because he felt people were becoming too addicted to the difficult title.
At one time, he was making more than $50,000 per day in advertising from the free game. Players were tasked with guiding the bird through a series of pipes. While it sounded simple, it was anything but at times.
We'll let you know if we hear any more news about the pictured game or the new Flappy Bird.
