Infinity Blade III Lets You Hack And Slash Some More With Its New Blade Masters Update

May 22, 2014
Chair Entertainment has just released another badass update to Infinity Blade III, the latest and final installment in its acclaimed Infinity Blade trilogy of action role-playing games. Titled Blade Masters, the update sees the return of Ryth, who is armed with his Solar Trans blade in his eternal quest for opponents to duel with. It also introduces the Collector, whom Chair describes as "an ancient Deathless Blade Master who seeks to acquire the finest weapons ever crafted." Furthermore, the update adds new Trainer and Customize features. The former lets you hone your skills with the Hideout's new Training Bot. The latter lets you change the color of Siris and Isa's armor, choose the animation style, view the characters of your MyMob friends, and — lo and behold — even take Infinity Blade selfies. There's also the new Goal Chase feature, which enables you to compare your MyMob friends goal progress with chase tracking. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. The latest update to Infinity Blade III also includes the following improvements:
  • Introduction of Beginners Tournaments to allow newer players to compete against other new players with similar skill levels.
  • Unlock ability to Master Items up to LVL 50!
  • 4 new Treasure Maps!
  • 6 new Enemies to battle!
  • Over 25 new items for Isa and Siris, including magic rings, weapons, shields, helmets, and armors to collect, master, and sell.
  • New Holiday Helms for Isa and Siris.
  • New Goals and Achievements.
  • Now translated into 2 additional languages: Latin American Spanish, Indonesian, and Thai.
  • A number of additional balancing tweaks, bug fixes, and gameplay enhancements.
  • Players can now link directly to Customer Care via Options Menu
In celebration of this update, Infinity Blade III is on sale for a limited time. Normally priced at $6.99, the game is currently available in the App Store for only $2.99. So, if you haven't played this deservedly acclaimed game, now is a good time to download it. Note that it's optimized for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later. Released on the same day as iOS 7 in September last year, Infinity Blade III received its first content update, dubbed Soul Hunter, in October, followed by another big update, called Ausar Rising, in December.
