Happy Friday, everyone! Welcome back to our weekly look at some of the newest iOS device accessories to hit the market. In this edition, we’re highlighting a perfect iPhone 5s/5 case for photographers and much more.
Incipio Focal Camera Case for the iPhone 5s/5
A perfect case for photographers, the Incipio Focal uses Bluetooth 4.0 to connect with an iPhone 5/5s. A dedicated shutter and zoom button on the case takes the place of tapping the iPhone’s screen. With the companion inCAMERA app, users can take advantage of in-app editing and other optimized features like a quick-use zoom button. The case offers full protection for the handset, and an included lanyard wrist strap makes the entire package easy to carry.
Available in five different color combinations, the case retails for $69.99 and can be preordered from Incipio’s site now. Estimated shipping is within one to two weeks.
RareForm iPad Sleeve
Made with hand-selected, recycled billboard material, the iPad Sleeve from RareForm is a unique way to carry any Apple tablet. Along with the unique exterior, the case is highlighted by a waterproof zipper.
Each sleeve will set you back $29.95 and can be ordered now directly from RareForm. Buyers can select from a huge number of color combinations.
RHYTHM+ Armband Heart Rate Monitor from Scosche
Instead of an uncomfortable armband, Scosche has introduced its new RHYTHM+ Armband Heart Rate Monitor. Using Bluetooth 4.0 technology, the monitor works with a number of third-party fitness apps, including Map My Fitness, RunKeeper, and Strava. Worn just below the elbow, the monitor fastens with a breathable neoprene arm strap. Along with being sweat proof and waterproof, the integrated battery lasts for up to eight hours of workouts before needing to be recharged.
The RHYTHM+ can be ordered now from Scosche’s site for $79.99. Along with a large and small armband, buyers will receive a one-year MVP membership to the Map My Fitness app.
Satechi LightMate
With summer almost here, Satechi’s new LightMate looks like a great item to take on a road trip or your next outdoor adventure. The aluminum alloy LED flashlight offers three different brightness levels and two distress modes, strobe and SOS. An integrated backup battery allows users to power up USB-based devices. In case of an emergency, the steel tip of the waterproof flashlight can be used as a glass breaker to help escape from a vehicle.
The LightMate is $29.99 and can be ordered from Amazon.com or directly from Satechi’s site.
