Apalon Apps Launches Camera Fx8 Free On The App Store

Looking to take your iPhone-powered photography to the next level but don't want to pay for a photo-editing app? Then consider taking Camera Fx8 Free -- a new, free application from the folks behind Camera Fx8 -- for a spin. The iPhone application offers photographers a free, limited-feature version of the full Camera Fx8 app, a $0.99 iOS application that allows users to create images, edit them, and even share them to a range of third-party services using an iPhone or iPod touch. In Camera Fx8 Free, more than 20 different effects can be used in real-time while users capture images on their handset. There are also 10 shapes for shooting unique, fun-looking pictures, and edited creations can be shared to Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. In particular, a time-lapse mode and a timer have been added to the built-in app, and a slew of improvements have been made to the companion Photos application, too.
