With high-quality visuals that are strongly reminiscent of Sky Force 2014 (released earlier this month), the just-launched Heli Hell offers a modern take on the vertical shoot-em-up genre. But as its title suggests, Heli Hell focuses on choppers instead of various types of fighter aircrafts. Choppers in bullet hell. "More powerful than ever, the enemy has holed up on the Island of Vylleña," the game's App Store description teases. "And now it's up to you to track him down and destroy all hostile activity." To help you on your perilous assignment, you have at your disposal a formidable arsenal of weapons and different types of helicopters. Heli Hell features 16 upgradeable weapons and four choppers at launch, with more to come in future updates. On the other side, Heli Hell features more than 30 different enemy units and a number of "MASSIVE. HEAVY. BOSSES." Check out the game's trailer: If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Heli Hell is available now on the App Store for free. It's compatible with iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, fifth-generation iPod touch, iPad 2, third-generation iPad, fourth-generation iPad, iPad Air, iPad mini, and iPad mini with Retina display. Developed by StarKom Entertainment, Heli Hell is published by Bulkypix.
