Cydia Tweak: Volume+ Adds Music Controls And More To The Volume HUD

We've seen plenty of volume HUD-enhancing jailbreak tweaks launch on the Cydia Store in the past, and one of the most recent is Volume+ -- a new package that can be downloaded now for $0.99.
Once installed and running on your iPhone, Volume+ adds a selection of new controls to the volume HUD. Some of these relate to the Music app, while others are designed to provide jailbreakers with convenient access to other aspects of Apple's mobile OS.
For example, a music scrubber allows users to quickly navigate through the currently-playing track, and album artwork, which is also displayed by Volume+, makes it possible for jailbreakers to quickly navigate over to the Music app.
Other shortcuts added by Volume+, however, allow users to quickly send off an SMS message or iMessage and to access the built-in Camera app. Given that these additions don't have much to do with the volume HUD, it could be that both shortcuts are already offered by a different jailbreak tweak which is installed on your iOS device.
More unfortunate, though, is the fact that Volume+ is a little rough around the edges; a handful of bugs are present in the current release and for this reason, using the jailbreak tweak isn't always a pleasant experience.
It's also worth adding that Volume+ suffers known incompatibility issues concerning other volume HUD-enhancing applications. The popular biteSMS package also has trouble running alongside Volume+, though the developer notes that uninstalling these troublesome packages before downloading Volume+ (and then reinstalling them after) should result in all your packages working in harmony.
Volume+ can be downloaded now on the Cydia Store for $0.99. However, with the above comments in mind, it's not a package we'd recommend at this moment in time.
