Republique Goes Free As Apple’s Latest App Of The Week

Apple has made a great choice for its latest App of the Week. The spectacular thriller Republique can now be downloaded for free until next Thursday, June 12.
The engaging game sees you help a mysterious young woman named Hope, who a trapped inside an oppressive and totalitarian state. Gamers are tasked with hacking into the nation’s massive surveillance network to help guide Hope to safety.
Featuring a number of RPG elements, the game offers difficult puzzles and a complex strategy. Along with the beautiful visuals, the score does a great job setting the haunting mood.
Even though the game isn’t for the faint of heart, the unique one-touch control system is easy to master.
Republique is a universal app designed for both the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. There are a number of in-app purchases available, including a $4.99 cost for the second episode of the game, Metamorphosis.
Three more episodes of the game will be released later this year.
