Spotify For iOS Now Lets You Sync All Of 'Your Music' With A Single Tap
Mere hours before Apple is expected to announce its plans for Beats Music at its WWDC keynote, Spotify has released a small yet significant update to its official app for iOS.
Early last April, the app received its biggest update yet with a new interface that's in line with the design of its Mac and Web counterparts. Later that month, it was updated with Your Music, a new way to save, organize, and browse favorite music.
Now, the latest update to Spotify for iOS adds a single and simple option for syncing all items in Your Music for offline listening.
Just select Your Music in the sidebar, go to the Songs tab, and enable the Available Offline option. Be mindful, though, of how many megabytes or even gigabytes you'll be downloading onto your device when enabling this option, especially when you've added quite a lot of songs, albums, playlists, and artists to Your Music.
Spotify for iOS is available in the App Store for free. It's compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later.
Note, however, that the aforementioned song syncing enhancement is applicable only to Spotify for iPhone and iPod touch, since Your Music is yet to be added to Spotify for iPad.
The new version of Spotify for iOS also includes bug fixes.
A couple of weeks ago, Spotify announced that it has 10 million paying subscribers.
