BodyWise 2.0 Features New Design, Fitbit And Jawbone UP Syncing Plus More

BodyWise, the fitness app that earned an AppAdvice App of the Week honorable mention following its launch nearly a year ago, has just been updated to version 2.0. BodyWise 2.0 features an interface that's been significantly redesigned. On top of that, the newly updated app introduces a number of notable features. Foremost among these new features is support for syncing with Fitbit and Jawbone UP accounts, which can help you get more out of your fitness tracking devices. BodyWise 2.0 also offers private health tracking with selected friends and motivates you to achieve more by scoring your health daily with so-called BodyForce points. As before, BodyWise lets you track your weight, steps, body measurements, or more than 40 areas of your health and fitness. Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later, BodyWise 2.0 is available now on the App Store for free. Note that updating to version 2.0 of BodyWise won't migrate your data from any of the app's previous versions. If you'd like to retain your data, you're advised to wait for version 2.0.1. Also coming soon to BodyWise is a premium training program called BodyWise PT. Available via in-app purchase, BodyWise PT analyzes your daily activity and creates personal reports on areas that you can improve on, thereby helping you train as though you had your very own personal trainer.
