Cydia Tweak: Check Out This Useful iOS 7.1.x-Compatible Package For Weather Watchers
If you’re rocking an iOS 7.1.x jailbreak (courtesy of Pangu) then you’ll be on the hunt for a selection of compatible packages. Fortunately for all the weather watchers out there, a clever jailbreak tweak can bring weather information to the iOS status bar and is compatible with iOS 7.1.0, iOS 7.1.1, and iOS 7.1.2.
Highlighted by iDownloadBlog, the package usefully adds the current temperature plus a weather icon to the status bar; the information will sit alongside the time at the top of the screen, though iPhone owners can configure StatusbarWeather7 to replace the carrier logo in the top-left corner of their handset’s display.
The website explains: “Other options that you’ll find inside of StatusbarWeather7′s preferences are the weather update interval slider, and a temperature unit selection.” StatusbarWeather7 can grab your location from the built-in Weather app, or users can also set up a custom weather ID inside the package’s preferences.
All in all, StatusbarWeather7 looks to be a useful jailbreak tweak that iOS 7.1.x-powered device owners will appreciate. It's available on the Cydia Store free of charge.
