It’s time to set sail with Assassin’s Creed: Pirates. Apple has just chosen the fun strategy game from Ubisoft as the latest free App of the Week.
As the name suggests, this Assassin’s Creed adventure takes place on the high seas. You’ll play as Alonzo Batilla, a young and ambitious captain who wants to destroy his enemies and become a true pirate legend.
Gamers will fight in real-time naval battles all over the Caribbean Sea with a number of ships.
The universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini can be downloaded now on the App Store. The game is optimized for the iPhone 5 and later along with the third-generation iPad and later.
There are a number of in-app purchases available.
Originally landing back in December, Assassin’s Creed: Pirates was named as the AppAdvice App of the Week shortly after its release.
A major update arrived late last month. Version 1.4 was highlighted by a new chapter appendix in the La Isla de la Juventud adventure. Gamers are tasked with destroying the jail fortress to free the slaves and unlock an exclusive reward to refresh daily challenges.
