UpTo Calendar updated with search feature, improved day view, reminders and more
July 10, 2014
UpTo Calendar, the app that features "a new dimension of the calendar," has just received another noteworthy update.
Released in March 2012, UpTo was significantly revamped late last March as it got updated to version 3.0 with a new streamlined design and a host of new features and enhancements.
This time, UpTo has been given even more features and enhancements with its 3.1 update.
First and foremost, UpTo 3.1 comes with search. That's right: At last, you can now search your calendar for any event in UpTo. To do so, just tap the search icon at the upper right portion of the app's home screen and enter your search keywords.
The updated app also features an improved day view, which you can now quickly access by tapping the newly instated button in the bottom navigation bar.

The latest update to UpTo also delivers improvements for the app's back layer. You see, as demoed in the video above, UpTo has two layers: the front layer, which is home to your existing main calendar, and the back layer, which includes the auxiliary calendars you follow based on your likes and interests. The back layer of events may be accessed by pinching or tapping on a gap in UpTo's calendar view.
Now, UpTo lets you set reminders for public events on the back layer. In addition, it now features a more comprehensive collection of TV calendars, including all nationally airing TV shows across about a hundred channels in the U.S.
The new version of UpTo also includes stability and performance improvements.
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later, UpTo Calendar 3.1 is available now on the App Store for free.
