Yahoo Finance update brings a new design, an improved watchlist and more

If you’re looking for something more than Apple’s limited Stocks app, definitely check out the newly updated Yahoo Finance.
Version 2.2 of the app brings a trio of improvements. First up, the revamped Home tab is designed to gives users quicker access to information on the stocks they follow.
The stock watchlist now also includes both after market and premarket data.
Finally, a new “News” tab gives users quick access to up-to-date market information.
A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Yahoo Finance can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
Before today’s changes, the last major update to the app arrived late last year. Version 2.0 brought push notifications and interactive charts featuring pan and pinch-to-zoom capabilities.
