Facebook now promises to update its iOS app every four weeks

While Facebook’s iOS app just received an update with the move to version 13.0, the more notable news was included in the release notes.
The social networking giant is now promising to update its iOS app every four weeks.
Here’s the complete message:
July 31 Update Thanks for using Facebook! To make our app better for you, we bring updates to the App Store every 4 weeks. If you have iOS7 or up, you can update the app automatically (without checking back here) by going to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Automatic Downloads and turning on Updates. Every update of our Facebook app includes improvements for speed and reliability. As other new features become available, we’ll highlight those for you in the app.A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Facebook can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. Facebook has definitely been busy lately updating its numerous iOS apps. Facebook Messenger, which will soon be the only way to message friends on the service, was just updated with full-screen sharing of media and more. And the new Slingshot app just received its first major update featuring the ability to send reactions from reactions.
