Facebook updates Snapchat rival Slingshot to support reactions to reactions
August 1, 2014
Facebook has just issued the first major update to its Snapchat competitor, Slingshot. Most notably, this update adds support for reactions to reactions.
With the new version of Slingshot, you can now send reactions to reactions to shots in your feed. This means that you can now reply to any reaction by slinging a shot of your own, which may be a photo, a video, or a line of text.
In addition to reactions to reactions, the first major update to Slingshot introduces a new My People tab. My People lets you see everyone you're slinging with in one place.

Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later, Slingshot is available on the App Store for free. Slingshot was officially launched for U.S. users on the App Store late last month. Just a week later, it was made available internationally.
