Originally showcased all the way back at CES, MetaWatch has announced that consumers can now preorder its premium Meta M1 smart watch.
As we reported back in January, the watch was designed by famous industrial designer Frank Nuovo and his Design Studio Nuovo.
Along with the companion iOS app, watch users can configure a nice number of app notifications and alerts to appear on their watch. Meta says the reflective mirror display can be read in the daylight while a backlight can help light up the watch at night.
The watch’s battery life is quoted to be around five to seven days, and the battery itself can be charged in around two hours. It is also water resistant up to three meters.
The Meta M1 can be preordered now directly from the company’s site. Prices range anywhere from $249 for a watch with a stainless steel case and rubber band all the way to $449 for a limited version with a black stainless steel case and band. The pictured watch with a rose gold case and "crocodile" band is $399.
All shipments will begin sometime in September.
