LifeTrak updated to version 2.0 with cloud syncing, Walgreens integration and more
August 4, 2014
LifeTrak, the official iOS companion of Salutron's line of wearable activity trackers of the same name, has just been updated to version 2.0, just over five months after its launch on the App Store.
Perhaps most notably, LifeTrak 2.0 introduces cloud sync integration. By signing up via email or Facebook, you can now save your LifeTrak data to the cloud and sync them across your devices.
The updated app also offers integration with Walgreens. This lets you connect your LifeTrak account to your account with the largest drug retailing chain in the U.S. Thereafter, you can earn points for every step you make and distance you have, which you can then redeem in exchange for rewards.
LifeTrak 2.0 also includes the following new features, improvements, and changes:
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later, LifeTrak 2.0 is available now on the App Store for free. LifeTrak is included in AppAdvice's recent 5 Fitness Tools You Can Use With Your iPhone Right Now feature.
