ProCam XL 2 for iPad updated with new Level Video mode and other improvements

ProCam XL 2, the popular iPad camera app developed by Samer Azzam, has just gained a new Level Video mode through its latest update. With Level Video mode, ProCam XL 2 ensures that your videos will always come out level regardless of how you tilt your device while recording. "Level Video mode supports all standard video features, including pause/resume, ability to take still photos, ability to adjust frame rate and resolution, audio meter, video timer, and date/location/Copyright stamps," Azzam notes. Another thing to note about ProCam XL 2's new Level Video mode is that it's supported on third-generation iPad, fourth-generation iPad, iPad Air, iPad mini, and iPad mini with Retina display only. The new version of ProCam XL 2 also includes the following enhancements:

• Improved Level Mode. Now a target view is used to indicate the capture area.
• Added the date format yyyy/mm/dd.
• The photo library can now be exited from any subview.
• Numerous optimizations and performance improvements.

Compatible with iPad and iPad mini running iOS 7.0 or later, the new version of ProCam XL 2 is available now on the App Store as a free update or as a new $0.99 download. The aforementioned improvements were already added to ProCam 2 for iPhone and iPod touch just a few days ago, with support for Level Video mode on iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, and fifth-generation iPod touch. ProCam 2 itself has just been updated with the return of the volume button shutter control. Interestingly, volume trigger also made its comeback recently in the similarly named ProCamera 7 app by Cocologics.
