What a Scrat-astrophe! Gameloft releases Ice Age Adventures for iOS

First teased by Gameloft last week, Ice Age Adventures is out now on iOS. A follow-up to Ice Age Village, Ice Age Adventures is the newest mobile game based on the popular "Ice Age" animated film franchise. In the game, you're tasked to help Manny the wooly mammoth, Diego the saber-toothed tiger, and Sid the sloth save the herd following a watery catastrophe triggered by Scrat the squirrel's acorn madness:

Scrat's nutty pursuit of the cursed acorn has world-changing consequences. Manny, Diego, and the rest of the herd are suddenly floating out to sea at the edge of a continental cataclysm. Left all alone, Sid needs your help to rescue his friends and save the entire herd.

First and foremost, Ice Age Adventures lets you embark on an epic adventure with the trio of continental drifters as they journey through different environments, turn up secret treasures, and take on various enemies. As shown in its teaser trailer below, Ice Age Adventures also features mini-games including a match-three puzzle game and an endless runner game.
