Bulkypix challenges you to Never Let Go in this new 'die and retry' arcade game
Bulkypix has just released a new iOS game that challenges you to, as its name suggests, never let go.
Developed by Rocksoft, Never Let Go is a deceptively simple arcade avoidance game that’s touted as a cross between Flappy Bird and Dark Souls.
You start the game by touching your iOS device’s screen. And from there on, you have to never let go to continue playing. Its one-finger gameplay challenges you to survive by controlling your avatar as you navigate a dangerous, albeit colorful, path.
Drag to move, go through the gates to score, and dodge everything else. These are your basic directives in Never Let Go, aside from “never let go,” of course. You can also touch your ghost at the spot where you last died to recover and add your previous score to your current one.

Never Let Go also lets you share your gameplay sessions via Everyplay, particularly daring you to prove your mettle by sharing a video of your having passed through all of the game’s nine worlds.
The worlds in Never Let Go are not not procedurally generated, so you can commit some of your dying spots to memory and anticipate them in future sessions.
Never Let Go comes on the heels, or tail, rather, of Retry, Rovio’s new one-finger arcade game with a similar “die and retry” gameplay.
