Newsify feed reader app now optimized for iPhone 6 and iOS 8
Newsify has just been updated for iPhone 6 and iOS 8.
Indeed, the popular newspaper-like feed reader app has been optimized for the higher resolutions of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. So, if you’ve been using Newsify on either iPhone, you can now say goodbye to blurry scaled-up text and images and say hello to a clearer, sharper and altogether more enjoyable reading experience.
As mentioned, Newsify has also been updated for iOS 8. In particular, the new version of the app now supports iOS’ native Share menu and, by extension (yup), the Share extensions that are enabled for it.
Note, though, that the iOS Share menu is not the default setting in Newsify; you have to select Share Sheet after tapping the share button to access it. But you can set it to show up directly after tapping the share button by selecting “Show iOS Share Sheet” in Newsify’s advanced settings.
The latest update to Newsify also delivers the usual bug fixes and improvements.
Now optimized for iPhone 6 and iOS 8, Newsify has become an even more appealing alternative to Reeder, which is perhaps the most popular feed reader app for iOS.
Another attractive choice for a feed reader app is Fiery Feeds, which was recently updated with support for iOS 8, iPhone 6, and iPad.
