Sandman, Spider-Gwen, Jack O' Lantern and more come to Spider-Man Unlimited
Gameloft has just uncovered a web of new features for Spider-Man Unlimited.
Announced last June and released just last month, Spider-Man Unlimited is a free-to-play episodic adventure game and “narrative web-runner” based on the Marvel comic book series of the same name.
And now, through its first major update, the game has been updated with a number of gameplay enhancements.
Foremost among these is the release of Issue No. 4 featuring Sandman in his five dimensional versions, 25 new missions, and upcoming Sandman events. Sandman, by the way, first appeared in “The Amazing Spider-Man” No. 4.
The first major update to Spider-Man Unlimited also marks the first appearance of Spider-Gwen in a game. As noted by Gameloft:
In a few short weeks, Spider-Gwen will be coming to Spider-Man Unlimited as an addition to this update! This new Gwen Stacy from an alternate universe was bitten by a radioactive spider and has captured global fan attention as the most exciting new Spider in Marvel’s line-up. Spider-Man Unlimited will be the first game to feature a playable Spider-Gwen!

In addition to Spider-Gwen, Spider-Girl and an army of Spider-Men from Marvel’s newly published “Spider-Verse” comics are coming soon along with new content to Spider-Man Unlimited.
Spider-Man Unlimited now also features an all-new environment inspired by New York City’s Highline, complete with true-to-life obstacles and hidden pathways.
And in celebration of Halloween, Spider-Man Unlimited is inviting you to take part in the game’s limited-time Jack O’ Lantern Halloween events. From today, Oct. 30, through Sunday, Nov. 2, you can collect pumpkins and take on Jack O’ Lantern himself in the game’s first event-exclusive boss fight.
