Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Companion app features clan wars, emblem editor and more
The official mobile companion app of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been released on iOS, a day ahead of the launch of the highly anticipated game on PlayStation, Xbox, and Windows.
Developed by Sledgehammer and published by Activision, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is the latest installment in the hugely popular Call of Duty series of first-person shooter games.
As expected, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s companion app doesn’t offer much in the way of replicating the main game’s core gameplay. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Companion, as the app is aptly called, is actually closer in essence to the phenomenal strategy game Clash of Clans.
The app supports Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare by enabling players to create and manage their clans and compete in clan wars with other players:
The winning clan in each 8-clan war receives exclusive in-game loot. This loot is used to customize your operator in Advanced Warfare Multiplayer and is only available in Clan Wars. Clan War loot is a signal to your opponent in any match that you and your clan are a cut above.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Companion also supports clan chat, clan profiles, and player profiles.
What’s more, the app comes with a built-in editor for creating and customizing clan and player emblems, which are synced with the emblem editor in the main game.
