Disney lets you kick some bot in 2 new iOS games based on Marvel's 'Big Hero 6'
Disney has launched a couple of iOS games that tie in with “Big Hero 6,” ahead of the release later this week of the 3-D computer-animated comedy film featuring the titular Marvel superhero team.
One of the games is called Big Hero 6: Baymax Blast. It's an endless running adventure game that lets you suit up and soar through the streets of San Fransokyo with Baymax, the inflatable robot who serves as the team's healthcare companion. The game challenges you to collect microbots and complete missions to unlock new playable characters and tech-smart power-ups.
The other, and perhaps more interesting, “Big Hero 6” tie-in iOS game is Big Hero 6 Bot Fight, which was soft-launched last month. Like the recently released Best Fiends and Fat Princess: Piece of Cake, Big Hero 6 Bot Fight is a match-three puzzle game featuring role-playing game elements.
In the game, you have to match power cells to activate attacks against enemy robots. The game also has you evolving your bots to assemble a powerful team and teaming up with other players to complete missions. Take a look at the game's launch trailer:
