Winery and Brewery Passport apps updated with new features and improvements
Winery Passport and Brewery Passport, the popular wine and beer journal apps developed by BakBurner Digital, have just received similar major updates.
Winery Passport 4.0 and Brewery Passport 3.0 both include new features and improvements.
First off, both apps now have what’s said to be the most requested feature, which is the ability to “unstamp” a winery or a brewery. They now also offer the second most requested feature, which is the ability to change the date on a passport stamp.
Moreover, the updated app now indicates if a listed winery or brewery is not open for tastings. Also, if a winery or a brewery you’ve stamped closes, it will still be shown in your Winery or Brewery Stats screen with an indicator, since only active wineries or breweries are listed.
And if you have a certified passport, you’re now eligible to see additional information including phone, map, and website links for every winery or brewery, in addition to unlocking the winery or brewery journal.
Both Winery Passport and Brewery Passport have also been updated with UI tweaks, crash fixes, and improvements to push notifications, search, password updating, journal paragraph breaks, and Facebook login. In addition, Brewery Passport has been updated with a fix to an issue affecting submissions of brewery suggestions.
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later, Winery Passport 4.0 and Brewery Passport 3.0 are available now on the App Store for free. Both apps offer a $0.99 in-app purchase for passport certification.
