Erno Laszlo's 'Holiday Wonders' ad campaign was created with an iPhone 6 Plus
Luxury cosmetics brand Erno Laszlo is out with a new winter advertising campaign that has ties to Apple. The video ad features scenes in New York City through the lens of an iPhone 6 Plus, according to AppleInsider.
“Holiday Wonders” features slow-motion, grayscale vignettes of the holiday season in Manhattan.
They note:
Included are scenes from the SoHo neighborhood, Rockefeller Center’s famous christmas tree, horse and carriage rides in Central Park, and shopping on Fifth Avenue, where Apple’s flagship retail store makes a cameo appearance in a reflection from department store Bergdorf Goodman’s window display.
Speaking of Apple’s “phablet” device, Kenan Aktulun of advertising agency Truth NYC said, “It opened up possibilities by allowing us to explore the life and energy of the holiday season in New York, in a truly mobile way.”
This isn’t the first time that an iPhone has been used for an advertising campaign.
In 2013, Burberry captured its Spring/Summer 2014 runway show using an iPhone 5s. Car maker Bentley’s “Intelligent Details” ad also featured work shot and edited using only iOS devices.
Earlier this month, photographer Brooks Kraft documented the unveiling of White House Christmas decorations using an iPhone 6 Plus.
