Gameloft releases first update to Asphalt Overdrive, teases Brothers in Arms 3 anew
Gameloft has issued the first update to Asphalt Overdrive. In addition, it has released a new teaser trailer for Brothers in Arms 3.
Launched in September and hailed as AppAdvice’s Game of the Week shortly after its debut, Asphalt Overdrive is the first spinoff of Gameloft’s popular Asphalt series of racing games. A follow-up to Asphalt 8: Airborne, it’s a runner-type mission-based game designed for on-the-go racing.
Through its first update, Asphalt Overdrive has gained a new infinite Joyride Race mode. This new mode challenges players to last as long as possible against the clock by collecting time extensions and hitting checkpoints along the way.
The update also introduces a couple of new cars, the iconic Renault Alpine A110 and the luxurious Lykan Hypersport.
Moreover, the update brings improved tutorials, open gangs, and a number of bug fixes and optimizations.
As for Brothers in Arms 3, it’s the long-awaited next installment in the Brothers in Arms series of first-person shooter games, following Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front.
Not much has been known about the upcoming game since it was announced by Gameloft in June last year. But now we get a sneak peek into the game, as well as a subtitle (Sons of War), through this minute-long teaser trailer just released by Gameloft:

“The internationally acclaimed WW2 series returns with blood-pumping shooter action!” Gameloft notes. “Lead your band of highly trained brothers and use their special abilities in the heat of battle. Upgrade your weapons, improve your squadmates’ skills and fight back against the enemy!”
No release date has been confirmed by Gameloft for Brothers in Arms 3: Sons of War. But with the surprise arrival of its teaser trailer, the game is presumably going to come out soon, perhaps before the end of the year.
