Inkle's acclaimed 80 Days steampunk adventure game travels to the North Pole
Just in time for the holidays, the widely acclaimed 80 Days is inviting you to travel to the North Pole through its latest update.
Created by Sorcery! and Future Voices developer Inkle, 80 Days is a steampunk-inspired strategy game adaptation of Jules Verne’s classic adventure novel, “Around the World in 80 Days.” But as noted in our largely positive original review here on AppAdvice:
The story is what makes this game. Even if you have never read “Around the World in 80 Days,” it’s easy to get into 80 Days, especially if you love the thought of traveling around the world while enjoying a fantastic story. The story starts with you and Phileas Fogg, wagering that you can circumnavigate the world in just 80 days, and you’ve been assigned to go along with him on a journey of epic proportions. With such a huge task, there will be multiple routes to complete the journey, which you will be able to discover and choose as you go.

And now, 80 Days has been updated with a new Arctic expedition that takes the globe-trotting duo of Phileas Fogg and Passepartout into the unforgivingly cold landscape of the North Pole as they attempt to shortcut their wager.
The release of 80 Day’s North Pole content update on iOS coincides with the launch of the game itself on Android.
