The official iOS game of “Sons of Anarchy” was announced a month ago, on the day itself of the airing of the series finale of the acclaimed FX crime drama. Now, here comes the first trailer for the upcoming game, which is officially called Sons of Anarchy: The Prospect.
First shared by “Sons of Anarchy” creator Kurt Sutter, the trailer, which you can watch below, gives us our first look at the game. Most notably, it reveals that the game is played from a first-person perspective, as it shows scenes of first-person motorcycle riding, first-person pistol brandishing, and even first-person smoking.
As seen in the video, the game’s graphics aren’t really worth showing off. But it’s important to note that the trailer is only a “rough cut,” suggesting that the game’s graphics will be more polished when it’s officially launched.

Sons of Anarchy: The Prospect is expected to be released in early 2015 for mobile phones and tablets, including, of course, iPhones and iPads.
The game is an episodic graphic adventure game of choice and consequence, like Telltale’s video game adaptations of AMC’s “Walking Dead” and HBO’s “Game of Thrones.” According to Fox Digital Entertainment, it’s set to introduce an original story from a “previously unknown chapter” of the show’s central outlaw motorcycle club.
The game is being developed by the Canadian studios Orpheus Interactive and Silverback Games, in collaboration with Sutter himself and his creative team.
