Powerful to-do app Things updated with an iOS 8 Notification Center widget
One of the best to-do apps has gotten even better with a recent update. Things has just made the move to version 2.6 and added a handy iOS 8 Notification Center widget.
The widget allows users to take a quick look at their starred items list, which can be made up of to-do items from multiple projects that can be worked on throughout the day.
Along with quickly viewing the information, you can also mark items complete, or canceled, and even create new ones from the widget
There are two separate versions of Things available to download on the App Store. Things, designed for the iPhone/iPod touch, can be downloaded for $9.99. Things for iPad costs $19.99.
The Mac version is available for $49.99 on the Mac App Store. It already features a Notification Center widget on OS X Yosemite.
Before today’s big improvement, the last major update arrived with version 2.5. That brought an iOS 8 extension that allows users to add information into the Things inbox from other apps like Safari or Notes.
Things is one of my favorite to-do app recommendations, and I’m glad to see it offer the widget. If you’re interested, take a look at our AppGuides that highlight other iPad and iPhone task management apps.
