Apple seeds a sixth beta version of OS X Yosemite 10.10.3
For the third consecutive Monday, Apple has just released a new beta version of Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.3. The sixth beta, labeled build 14D127a, can be downloaded now through the Mac App Store.
The software is available to both registered developers and members of the Apple public beta testing program.
We’ll let you know if we find any major changes in this version. More than likely, with the rapid pace of beta releases, the software should officially be released to the public soon.
As you probably remember, the major feature of OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 is the Photos for Mac app that will replace both iPhoto for consumers and the professional-oriented Aperture.

Starting with the third beta version, Apple has included developer APIs for the Force Touch trackpads found on the new MacBook and revamped MacBook Pro line. Different functions can be programmed depending on how hard of a press is sensed.
