AT&T’s Modio LTE case for the iPad mini arrives later this month
First unveiled back at CES in January, AT&T has recently announced that its Modio LTE case for any generation of the iPad mini will be available to purchase starting on Friday, March 20.
With the case, Wi-Fi only iPad mini users can connect to the AT&T network while on the go.
Along with that nice feature, the case also contains a 4,600 mAH backup battery to help keep the tablet charged when you most need it. And the Modio’s microSD slot allows users to add up to 32GB of extra storage space.
Using the upcoming companion AT&T Modio Data app, free to download on the App Store, buyers can connect to the case and also view data usage information.

The case will be available at AT&T Stores, att.com, and other select retailers. It will retail for $49.99 with a two-year agreement or $199.99 contract free. The Modio can also be purchased with the AT&T Tablet Installment plan for $10 a month for 20 months.
AT&T said a case for the iPad Air and iPad Air 2 will hit the market “in the coming months.”
