Twitter’s official iPhone app will now display larger photos
Twitter’s official app for the iPhone is getting even better with a new improvement. The social networking giant announced today that users will be able to view larger photos in the app.

More than likely, Twitter is making the change on its servers and users won’t need to download an updated app. As you can see, the larger photos should be exceptionally nice to view on the larger and high-resolution iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus screens.
The official Twitter app is universal and designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
If you’re looking for other Twitter clients, definitely take a look at our AppGuide highlighting some great apps like Tweetbot 3, Twitterific 5, Echofon for Twitter, and more.
My favorite is easily Tweetbot 3. It’s powerful, easy to use, and a perfect way for anyone who enjoys spending time on the social network. The iPhone/iPod touch app can be downloaded now on the App Store for $4.99.
And if you’re purchasing an Apple Watch, Twitter is also planning to introduce an official app for the wearable that will be available on launch day – Friday, April 24. To find out more about how that app will work, take a look at our sister site WatchAware and Apple’s dedicatedwatch app page.
