Create your own paper dinos and have some Jurassic fun with Foldify Dinosaurs
Yet another new chapter has unfolded in the Foldify franchise.
Foldify is a series of iPad apps that enable kids (and kids at heart) to create colorful papercrafts for fun and learning. It began with the launch of the original Foldify in December 2012 and continued with the release of Foldify Zoo in April last year.
And now, a new Folfidy app has roared and thumped its way onto the App Store: Foldify Dinosaurs.
While the original Foldify features various types of 3-D figures and blockheads, Folfidy Zoo features different kinds of zoo animals to turn into papercraft printouts (see trailer below). For all intents and purposes, Foldify Dinosaurs is very much like Foldify Zoo, except it features extinct reptiles, like the tyrannosaurus and the triceratops, instead of creatures exhibited in a zoo.

For each featured dinosaur, Foldify Dinosaurs presents a brief description, along with its temporal range of existence, length, width, and a world map indicating the locations of its uncovered remains. This provides users with a bit of knowledge before proceeding to the fun process of designing, printing, cutting, and folding paper dinos.
Like its predecessors, Foldify Dinosaurs also supports real-time 3-D previews, AirPrint, PDF export via email, and sharing via social media.
Foldify and Foldify Zoo remain available on the App Store for $3.99 each.
