Last month, Foursquare updated its namesake flagship app with Apple Watch support, which lets you get notified of and search for nearby places to visit and find out what’s best at the place you’re at. Now, the popular local search and discovery service has also updated its Swarm check-in app with support for Apple’s recently released smart watch.
As you might expect, Swarm for Apple Watch lets you easily check in to places. In addition, it lets you quickly see who among your friends are nearby. Swarm’s Apple Watch extension is just like the app’s Today widget on iPhone, except it offers its key features directly on your wrist and not out of your pocket.

Aside from adding Apple Watch support, the latest update to Swarm brings about a revamp of the app’s sticker system. In a bid to better gamify check-ins, Foursquare has converted badges into stickers and added new stickers for good measure.
You can find all of the collectible stickers, including the ones you’ve unlocked, in the new Sticker Book tab (replacing the tab for notifications, which are now accessible through the top right corner icon on any tab).
Of course, you have to check in to places to unlock stickers. You can then show off your unlocked stickers by adding them to check-ins, photos, and even messages in Swarm.
