Speck’s popular case line makes its way to the Apple Watch with the new CandyShell Fit
One of the most popular lines of cases for the iPhone and iPad will soon make its way to the Apple Watch. Speck has recently announced that the CandyShell Fit will arrive later this month.
Speck is touting the case’s easy-on and easy-off design. It’s made with two layers of protection – a hard exterior shell and a softer interior that will help absorb bumps and shock. The case has also been tested against sweat, extreme temperatures, and chemicals like sunscreens and lotions.
The slightly raised bezel of the case will help protect the screen from scratches or a worse fate.
When it arrives, the case will retail for $29.99. Buyers will be able to select from a number of colors, including the pictured black, white, pink, and blue. You can sign up on Speck’s site here to be notified when the case is available to order. It will be available in both a 38mm and 42mm version.
While I wasn’t very impressed with the first Apple Watch case I reviewed last week – Spigen’s Liquid Crystal – I think Speck’s option is shaping up to be a nice choice to use when doing strenuous outdoor activities. The screen protection is also a big plus. I’m looking forward to trying one out soon.
