Play as Lego Minifigures in new online game out now on iOS
Do you love Lego Minifigures? Do you love the video game genre known as MMORPG? If your answer to at least one of those questions is yes, then be sure to check out Lego Minifigures Online, which has just been released on iOS.
Developed by Funcom (the same studio behind The Long Journey Remastered), Lego Minifigures Online is a 3-D massively multiplayer online role-playing game featuring various characters from Lego’s popular Minifigures theme.
Collect Minifigures
In the game, you get to assemble your very own team of Minifigures. There are more than 100 Minifigures for you to collect, each with its unique power and personality: from an ancient warrior to a rock star, from a bolt-conjuring wizard to a selfie-obsessed trendsetter.
You can even unlock Minifigures instantly by entering the codes found in real-world Minifigure blind bags, which you can purchase in toy stores.

Travel through Lego worlds
After building your team of Minifigures, you get to lead them on epic quests through different Lego worlds and against different enemies. You must guide them as they fight sea monsters in Pirate World, dragons in Medieval World, aliens in Space World, primordial creatures in Dino World, minotaurs in Mythology World, and more.
As they go on adventures and engage in battles, your Minifigures gain experience and thus enhance their powers.
Play with others across platforms
As an MMORPG, Lego Minifigures Online lets you play with other players from around the world, be they people you already know or just newfound friends. What’s more, you can play with others in the same persistent online world even if they’re on a different platform from yours.
In addition to iOS, the game is playable on Mac, PC, Linux, and Android. It also remains playable even if your switching between different devices or platforms.

Note that the initial download of the game includes the first world, which is Pirate World. Additional worlds may be unlocked via in-app purchase for at least $2.99 each.
Lego Minifigures Online looks to be a great game for Lego and/or MMORPG fans of all ages. If you count yourself in that fandom, you’re likely to find lots of things to like in the game, whether you’re 9 or 99.
