Anyone who spends any amount of time online probably has their fair share of passwords for a plethora of different sites and services. And a password manager is a big help in keeping all of that important and confidential information safe.
One of the top choices in the App Store, Dashlane, has just received a nice update that adds a great feature for iPhone and Apple Watch users.
Protect your passwords
The major draw in version 3.1.0 is the automatic password change feature. Originally launched on the desktop client earlier this year, it allows users to quickly and easily change their password on more than 75 different sites with a quick tap.
Dashlane will let you know if any of your online information has been put at risk, and you can change the password on either your watch or iPhone. And you don’t even need to wait for a breach to occur to create safer and more unique passwords to protect your online identity.
Apple Watch users can also copy a password to their iPhone so you can log in to accounts without ever leaving the site or app. Users can even take advantage of voice search capability for secure notes on the wearable.
Dashlane is a universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
With an in-app purchase of $39.99, you an unlock a premium version of the service which includes automatic sync between all of your devices and backup for account information.
While there are other less expensive password management apps, like one of our favorites 1Password, Dashlane looks like a nice choice for users looking for more of a turnkey solution to protect their online information. And the automatic password changing feature should really give users peace of mind.
