HeyLets is essentially a city guide app with a social networking component that’s built on positive experiences — you can take your negative reviews someplace else.
The app works by letting you specify your interests and then suggesting so-called “experiences” to you and linking you up with other users based on your interests. You can discover your next destination by checking the app’s Explore tab, where you can browse trending, nearby and recommended experiences, along with the experiences enjoyed by community members you follow.

You can also filter the feed by location to see what the locals in a particular place are recommending.
Of course, you yourself can recommend an experience by posting a photo or video accompanied by up to 200 characters telling other users what you liked about it. Who knows? You might find yourself in the Influencers tab along with other “influencers” when you’ve recommended enough great experiences.
Hey, let’s see what’s new in HeyLets 2.0
Released in October last year, HeyLets has just been updated to version 2.0 with a new new look and feel aimed at making the experience itself of using the app a good one. The interface is less cluttered, the navigation is easier, and the performance is smoother.
In particular, the filter has been revamped for easier searching of experiences by category. Just tap the Filter button to choose from 13 categories, with related ones grouped together. From dining and entertainment to sports and games, from shopping and grooming to sightseeing and volunteering, HeyLets is likely to have something for whatever you’re in the mood for.

HeyLets 2.0 also features a new detail screen that shows venue information as well as social content in one place. Here you can access the contact number and the website of the venue. You can also see directions to it and even book a ride via Uber.
HeyLets 2.0 also includes bug fixes and miscellaneous improvements.
