It’s now even easier to play Trivia Crack from your Apple Watch
Gaming on the Apple Watch has so far been an interesting proposition. While most of the games released for the small wearable device haven’t been worth your time, or money, a few have been able to stand out from the pack and offer a fun experience.
With WatchOS 2.0, which was released earlier this month, developers have been able to take advantage of more of the watch’s features. Along with being able to create apps that run natively on the watch, Apple is allowing developers to take advantage of other important parts of the device like the speaker and microphone.
And one of the more interesting Apple Watch games, Trivia Crack, has gotten even better with an update to version 2.2.2. With the update, you can now start new games and play directly from the watch. There’s no need to use your iPhone.
Once your opponent answers their question, the game now uses sounds and vibrations when receiving a notification.
Here’s an interactive preview of the watch app from our sister site WatchAware.
The update also brings an improved user interface and fixes bugs – including an issue that caused the app to crash when using VoiceOver.A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Trivia Crack can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. You can purchase an ad-free version of the app for $2.99.
And if you haven’t played Trivia Crack before, it’s a fun way to take on your friends in a battle of knowledge. Each of the game’s six categories – science, entertainment, art, geography, sports, and history – has a corresponding character. The first person to snag all six characters wins the game.
